Steve shared medalist honors under ideal weather conditions

Seven golfers tee it up this Sunday under clear skies and no wind. It was a great day for golf. The greens are in great shape after being aerated two weeks ago. Steve McDowell birdied number 2 and Tony King birdied number 18. They both shot 82 for a share of medalist honors. Shot of the day was awarded to Barrack Obama just because he deserves it. We have 3 tee times for next Sunday starting at 9:30 and we have openings. Let me know if you want to play.

Just a thought about the forecast

Frigid temperatures cancelled golf for this Sunday. 36 degrees and frost made conditions unplayable and unbearable. I hope we get a few more rounds in this year. I want to thank everyone who played and helped get tee times. I am awarding everyone the Nobel Peace Prize. We will try again next Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:30 am and there are plenty of openings. Let me know if you want to play.

The newest golfnut member arrived on Sunday October 4th. Welcome Louie

12 golfers teed it up this Sunday. It turned out to be a beautiful day. Four golfnuts participated in the 1st annual East Peoria Lil Express golf outing at Quail Meadows. Billy King's grandson arrived at 6 pm on Sunday and gets the Shot of the Day. We will play next Sunday if the weather cooperates. We have 4 tee times starting at 9 am and plenty of openings. DWTS uber fans Tim McClintick and Benny Hayes return to action.
