May 9th Golfnut update

EZ Bill and Bill Haas prepare to tee off at the General

16 golfers head to Galena on May 16th for 3 days of golf

10 golfers teed it up at Kellogg on Sunday. The track was sloppy but the rain stayed away. Steve McDowell shot 79 with a birdie on # 8 for medalist honors. Billy King knocked his approach shot close on # 13 and made his birdie putt and Tony King sank a long one on # 17 for the only other birdie. We move to Donovan GC this Sunday. Next Sunday May 16th we head to Eagle Ridge for the greatest golf trip on the planet. We have 3 tee times starting at 8:20 am and we are full.

April 25th Golfnut Update

Tim took medalist honor on Sunday

12 golfers teed up on Sunday. Another beautiful April morning . Tim McClintick took medalist honors with an 80. Tim chipped in on number 3 from in front of the sand trap for a birdie. Joe Wenzel sank a lengthy putt on 8 for birdie and Tony King posted a 3 on number 10 for the only birdies of the day. The greatest golf trip on the planet begins May 16th. We have 4 tee times starting at 8:30 am and there is 2 openings.

April 18th Golfnut update

Tim and Steve joined 2010 Club 70 . Steve posted a 78 with 3 birdies and Tim shot 79.
Rick and EZ enjoy a beautiful opening day at Kellogg

14 golfers teed up on opening day. It was a perfect April morning which led to some excellent scores. Dan Sordelet and angler Steve McDowell shared medalist honors with 78. Dan had birdies on 3,4 & 16 and Steve birdied 6,9 & 11. Other birdie shooters were Keven Andrews (6,11) Tony King (2,18) Bob Kooy (5,7) Rick Kirkbride (7) and Tim McClintick (14). There were numerous great shots but the shot of the day goes to Tim for his approach shot on # 14 that hit the cup and nearly flew in the hole for a kick in birdie. We have 4 tee times starting at 8:30 am and there is 1 opening.

Golfnut update April 11th

Brett King returns to Peoria for a family wedding and plans to join the group on Sunday

4 golfers teed it up on Easter Sunday. Dan Sordelet shot an impressive 80 for medalist honors. Dan Kirwan, EZ Bill and Steve McDowell rounded out the Easter foursome. World Champion Brett King returns to Peoria for Theresa's wedding and may play if the reception ends early. Let me know if you want to play.
