Tim was sensational shooting a 76 and capturing the Stableford title

A perfect golf day led to great scores. We had 1 no show. Nearly everyone made or exceeded their Stableford target. Tim McClintick crushed the field with a plus 17 to take first place. He also shared medalist honors with Ryan Samp (2nd place) with 76. Steve McDowell placed 3rd and there was a 3 way tie for 4th by Bob Kooy, Joe Wenzel and Tony. Jerry Schraeder was the only multiple birdie shooter (8 & 17) Other birdies were by Ryan (2), Rick Kirkbride (4) and Tim (6). We have 3 tee times starting at 8:40 am and we have 1 opening. Tee time responsibility is Bob Kooy, Tim and EZ Bill.

The 2012 Golfnut Season has officially started

11 golfers teed up on Sunday under mild conditions. The temperature was in the 60s but most of the scores were in the 90s. Tony King chipped in from the side of # 17 green for the only birdie of the day and captured 1st place in the Stableford. Bob Kooy was one point back for 2nd and there was a four way tie for 3rd. Tony posted the medalist score of 86. I am certain the scores will improve with the weather. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:46 am at Donovan and we are full. Tee time responsibility for this Sunday is Benny, Tony and Reno.
