April 22nd-We had 11 golfers on Sunday and one no-show. Chilly and windy conditions prevailed but Ryan Samp overcame the weather for a 77 and medalist honors. Tim McClintick birdied 4 & 6 and had the shot of the day when he hit a 6 iron into the wind to a back pin placement that stopped inches from the cup for a near eagle/easy birdie. Fred Girardini had the only other birdie with a chip in on # 12.

Frank Bradley shaking the rust off with the Golfnuts Rick Farnan was white hot on Sunday with birdies on 7 and 14

14 golfers teed up on an windy Sunday. Rick Farnan stole the show shooting an 81 with two birdies for 1st place in the Stableford and also winning the closest to the pin on #14. Rick Kirkbride took 2nd and Gary Toubeau captured 3rd. Tim McClintick was the medalist with an outstanding 79 under tough playing conditions. Bob Kooy birdied #4, Gary Toubeau #13 and Jerry Schraeder #16. Long time golfnut Frank Bradley made a rare appearance with the group. We have 4 tee times next Sunday starting at 8:30 am and we are full.

A Big thanks to Jerry for taking care of business while I was away

It is great to be back and I am looking forward to playing some golf this Sunday. There was a report that 4 golfers teed up on Easter Sunday and EZ Bill broke 100 for the first time this year. Congratulations EZ!! We have 4 tee times for this Sunday starting at 8:30 am at Donovan GC and we have 2 openings.
