 2013 Golfnut trip to Eagle Ridge Resort

It's hard to beat 4 Kings

15 golfers traveled to Galena Illinois and played the very challenging South, General and North courses at Eagle Ridge Resort. Only a slight rain delay on the first day dampened the trip as the weather cooperated and all golf was completed. We had 3 golfers, Mark Wintczak, Rick Farnan, and Jerry Schraeder make the trip for the first time. A venture to Diamond Joe's Casino proved rewarding to a few crap players and Steve McDowell was white hot on the slots. Next year marks our 15th  year of this golf outing so save the date on your calendar.

EZ Bill celebrates 84 years on June 2nd

Rain washed out another Sunday of Kellogg Golfnuts. 3 golfers Rick Farnan, Bob Kooy and Joe Wenzel trudged through the slop at Donovan for 9 holes. We will try this again. We have 3 tee times this Sunday at Kellogg GC starting at 8:20 am and we have no openings. Let me know if you want to play. "bored" meeting at the Tilted Kilt following golf.

4 golfers braved the frigid and windy May weather on Sunday with Steve McDowell shooting a respectable 83. Benny Hayes managed a birdie on number 8 under very tough playing conditions. The group heads to Galena IL to play at the Golf Digest #4 rated resort in the USA. The action begins on the South course at noon. We have 15 golfers participating with a medical emergency causing George Lange to miss.

Four Bills

Another rain out as the 2013 season is struggling to get going. No carts and soggy conditions cancelled golf last Sunday. No rain in the forcast for Mother's day, just sunshine and cool temperatures. We have 3 tee times starting at 8:20 am at Kellogg GC and we have 4 openings. No tee times for May 19th because the group will be playing in Galena. Please let me know if you want to play this week.
