Tim Tony and Mickey enjoyed a great day at Kellogg

Only 8 golfers took advantage of the ideal weather on Sunday. Tony King shot an 81 for medalist honors and captured 1st place in the Stableford.  Benny Hayes stuck his tee shot close on number 7 and finished off the hole with a birdie. Tim McClintick posted the only other birdie on 18. Tony took closest to the pin on 17. Dan Sordelet returns to action this Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 8:18 am and we have 4 openings.

 EZ Bill celebrates Fathers Day with his 2 favorite sons

EZ Bill provides a father figure for Amber at Hooters

 

11 golfers teed it up on Sunday with gusting winds of 40 mph that made a monster out of Donovan golf course on Father's day. Mickey took medalist honors with an 81 and a birdie on #3 winning closest to the pin with an outstanding shot. Joe Wenzel birdied # 5 on his way to crushing the Stableford field. Tony King birdied #8 and 14. Benny Hayes birdied number 9 and Reno took closest to the pin on # 14. We return to Kellogg GC this Sunday starting at 8 am with 3 tee times and 3 openings.

Happy Father's Day to all the brothers, sons, dads and grandpas

The heavy rains on Saturday night turned Kellogg GC into a swamp and banned carts from the course. Four golfers, Ben, Barry, Tim and Tony walked the 18 holes. No scores to report but Benny birdied 15 and 18. We move to Donovan GC this Sunday starting at 8:20 am. We have 4 tee times and we have 3 openings. Let me know if you want to play. Hooters World Champion Brett King returns to Peoria for a round of golf

Birthday Boy EZ Bill throws out the 1st pitch at the Peoria Chiefs game

 

We had 13 golfers tee it up on Sunday at Kellogg. Texan and World Champion Brett King returned to Peoria for a round of golf with the Golfnuts and to celebrate his grandpa's 85th birthday. There was some excellent shooting by Tim McClintick who took medalist honors with a 77 with birdies on 8 & 15. Tony King shot a 78 with a birdie on 18 and Dusty Masching posted a 79 and birdied 12. Tony won the Stableford competition and Dave Tealbey won both closest to the pin competitions. He also birdied 7 & 13. We have 3 tee times this Sunday starting at 8:20 am and there are 2 openings.
