10 golfers teed up on a beautiful Mother's day Sunday at Kellogg. Tim McClintick was white hot shooting a 77 with birdies on 7,15 & 16 for medalist honors. Tony King birdied # 6 and Gary Toubeau birdied # 11 for the only other birdies on the day. The Golfnuts head to Galena Eagle Ridge this Sunday for a noon tee time. We will return to action at Kellogg on May 22nd.

Winter just will not go away. 11 golfers teed up under chilly,windy,and wet conditions. Ryan Samp shot 76 with no birdies for medalist honors.Tony King knocked in a sand wedge from 50 yards on #6 for a birdie and Tim drained a 15 footer on the same hole for birdie also. Mickey Winkler birdied # 13 and Kevin Andrews birdied #17. . We have 3 tee times starting at 8:20 am at Kellogg GC and we have 1 opening.

A week of rain has led to golf course closings and no riding carts allowed

The rain and wet conditions kept most golfers away on Sunday. I heard Dan Kirwan, Kevin Andrews and Steve McDowell decided to play. No golf results were reported. The weatherman is predicting sunshine and 60's on Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:30 am at Kellogg GC and we are full.

Tim hangs on to his hat in the wind

14 golfers teed up on a warm and very windy Sunday morning. Most scores were higher than normal due to the high winds and extreme gusts but some golfnuts managed to put up red numbers. Reno started things off with a birdie on #2, Bill Haas birdied #7, And Ryan Samp posted 2 birdies on 4 & 18 to help his medalist score of 79. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:30 am at Kellogg GC and we have openings.

Rick Kirkbride was in mid-season form and took medalist honors

Six golfers teed up on a warm and windy spring Sunday morning. The warm temperatures led to some hot shooting by Jeff Pulfer with back to back birdies on # 5 and 6. Another hot golfer was Steve McDowell who birdied # 6 and 9 but Rick Kirkbride took medalist honors with an 83. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:10 am at Kellogg GC and we are full.
