May 1st Golfnut News

A week of rain has led to golf course closings and no riding carts allowed




The rain and wet conditions kept most golfers away on Sunday. I heard Dan Kirwan, Kevin Andrews and Steve McDowell decided to play. No golf results were reported. The weatherman is predicting sunshine and 60's on Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:30 am at Kellogg GC and we are full.

April 17th Golfnut News

Tim hangs on to his hat in the wind

14 golfers teed up on a warm and very windy Sunday morning. Most scores were higher than normal due to the high winds and extreme gusts but some golfnuts managed to put up red numbers. Reno started things off with a birdie on #2, Bill Haas birdied #7, And Ryan Samp posted 2 birdies on 4 & 18 to help his medalist score of 79. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:30 am at Kellogg GC and we have openings.

April 10th Golfnut News

Rick Kirkbride was in mid-season form and took medalist honors

Six golfers teed up on a warm and windy spring Sunday morning. The warm temperatures led to some hot shooting by Jeff Pulfer with back to back birdies on # 5 and 6. Another hot golfer was Steve McDowell who birdied # 6 and 9 but Rick Kirkbride took medalist honors with an 83. We have 3 tee times starting at 9:10 am at Kellogg GC and we are full.

October 17th Golfnut News

Steve was white hot with back to back birdies


Seven golfers teed it up on Sunday and the weather was perfect again. Tony King was medalist with a 78 and he birdied number 2. Steve McDowell posted back to back birdies on 3 & 4 and Dan Sordelet added his birdie on number 8. Since the weather had been ideal and the forecast is great for next Sunday we have decide to extend the year one more week. We have 2 tee times starting at 9:10 am at Kellogg and we have 1 opening.

October 10 Golfnut News

Shorts and short sleeves were the golf attire for Sunday


Is it October? You would not have known it if you were playing golf on Sunday. Four golfers teed it up Sunday morning. It was a perfect day for golf. Tony King shot a 78 (41-37) for medalist honors. The other three golfers who braved the 80 degree weather were Rick Kirkbride, Jerry Schraeder and Jeff Pulfer. We have 2 tee times for next Sunday at Kellogg starting at 9:30 am. Let me know if you want to play. We have 1 opening.
