Dusty Masching took medalist honors with a sensational 74 with birdies on 6 & 15. Joe Wenzel birdied # 18 and Dee Benway posted a birdie on the tough # 9. No other scores were reported. Eagle Ridge Trip and update

The Golfnuts traveled to Eagle Ridge for three days of golf at the top resort in Illinois. George Lange returned to Galena from Las Vegas. He owned the par 3 number 8 at the North course sticking two tee shots within 6 feet but failed to make the birdies. The weather was perfect for the extended weekend. Frank Bradley made his first trip to Galena with the group. It was another successful outing and we agree that we must return next year. We have 4 tee times for Sunday starting at 9 am and we have no openings.

Jerry added another bird on number 6 with the shot of the day from 75 yards out into the cup and Rick Kirkbride also birdied 6. Newcomer Tim Wolfmeyer finished with a birdie on 18 and shot a respectable 81. The group heads to Eagle Ridge next Sunday but we have 2 tee times at Kellogg starting at 8:28 am.
