Megan was our gracious host today at our official dining site15 golfers teed it up on a warm and windy August morning. Kellogg played long and tough following the day after the Men's city tournament. Back tees, wind and impossible pin placements created inflated scores. Dee Benway and Jerry Schraeder shot 82 for medalist honors. Dee birdied 18 and Jerry birdied 5 & 9. Other birdies were posted by Gary Toubeau (8), Mickey Winkler (1), Benny Hayes (3) and Kevin Andrews (6). Shot of the day goes to Benny for his tee shot on number 3 to within 2 feet. We are accepting entries for the 8th annual Hooters Classic. Entry is $30. We have 4 tee times next Sunday starting at 8:30 am and we have 2 openings.
