Greg Fletcher tuned up his game with birdies on 1 and 16 on Labor day
Who will capture the Hooters Cup this year?11 golfers teed it up on Sunday under soggy conditions. The threat of rain scared a few golfers away but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Mickey Winkler returned to action with a 77 with birdies on 6 & 7 for medalist honors. Steve McDowell also birdied 7, Dan Kirwan birdied 6 and Bill Leroy & Tony King birdied 10. On Labor day, 11 golfers played under ideal condition that led to 12 birdies. Multiple birdies by Dee Benway (8,13,17) Tony King (6,9,15) and Greg Fletcher (1,16). Other birdie shooters were Tim McClintick (7), Rick Kirkbride and Billy King (11) and Reno (15). The pairings for the Hooters World Championship 2 Man Scramble will be this Sunday at Hooters after golf. We have 3 tee times next Sunday starting at 8:30 am and we are full.
