September 30th Golfnut News

 Dan Sordelet was the big money winner on Sunday
Tim McClintick captures medalist honors

9 golfers teed it up on Sunday at Kellogg GC under ideal weather conditions. Tim McClintick posted an 80 for medalist honors. Reno King took 1st placed in the Stableford.With the lone birdie of the day on # 1  Dan Sordelet was the big money winner placing 2nd and winning closest to the pin on 17. Tim McClintick took 3rd and Mickey Winkler had the greenie on # 3. 
We have 2 tee times for this Sunday starting at 9 am and we have no openings. Please let me know if you want to play.

September 16th Golfnut update

19 golfers teed it up Sunday under cool conditions but the winds blew in sunshine and warm air by the back nine. The 11th Hooters World Championship and the first 4 man scramble event is history. The team of Benny Hayes, Joe Wenzel, Bill Haas and Ryan Samp shot an 11 under par 61 to capture the trophy. Second place went to Tim McClintick, Rick Farnan and Tony King with a 66. Closest to the pin prizes went to Fred Girardini  # 7 and Joe Wenzel # 17. Rick Farnan took the longest putt prize on # 11. A special thanks to all of the corporate sponsors,  KB Elliott, Pepperridge Farms, Specialty Imports, Hooters and Scott Forge for their generous door prizes. We would also like to give a big thanks to Dan Kirwan for helping the outing run smoothly.
We will continue to play on Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 8:10 at Kellogg GC and we have 3 openings. Please let me know if you plan to play.
