Tony King sports a KB Elliott hat while Dan Kirwan checks in players
19 golfers teed it up Sunday under cool conditions but the winds blew in sunshine and warm air by the back nine. The 11th Hooters World Championship and the first 4 man scramble event is history. The team of Benny Hayes, Joe Wenzel, Bill Haas and Ryan Samp shot an 11 under par 61 to capture the trophy. Second place went to Tim McClintick, Rick Farnan and Tony King with a 66. Closest to the pin prizes went to Fred Girardini # 7 and Joe Wenzel # 17. Rick Farnan took the longest putt prize on # 11. A special thanks to all of the corporate sponsors, KB Elliott, Pepperridge Farms, Specialty Imports, Hooters and Scott Forge for their generous door prizes. We would also like to give a big thanks to Dan Kirwan for helping the outing run smoothly.
We will continue to play on Sunday. We have 3 tee times starting at 8:10 at Kellogg GC and we have 3 openings. Please let me know if you plan to play.
IN- Tony King, EZ Bill, Reno King, Mickey Winkler, Tim McClintick, Rick Kirkbride, Steve McDowell, Dan Sordelet, Joe Wenzel
